SARASOTA COUNTY (WSNN) – The Veteran Day recognition continues at Goodwill Manasota, Saturday.
More than a hundred people attended the non-profit’s free Veterans Health & Wellness Fair at its Veterans Services office at 8490 Lockwood Ridge Road in Sarasota.
Vets and their families learned about the resources available to them. Goodwill Manasota provides programs and services for vets to help them with their re-entry into civilian life.
At the event, Health services offered on-site dental screenings, blood pressure checks, and blood sugar screenings.
Veterans also received guidance on disability claims, healthcare enrollment, and counseling services.
