TAMPA (SNN-TV) – After a dominant victory over the Sabres in Buffalo on Tuesday, the Lightning return to Amalie tonight looking for their 25th win of the season.

The Bolts have been dynamic this season offensively with 3.3 goals per game and 12.7 high-danger chances per 60 minutes, but it’s actually the defense that makes this team elite.

The Lightning rank second in expected goals against, fifth in preventing high-danger scoring chances and 10th in goals allowed at 5-on-5. Andrei Vasilevskiy has been up to that standard once again this season with a 20-6-3 record and a .924 save percentage in 29 games.

As for the Canucks they were clicking on all cylinders before they had games postponed due to COVID-19, in their last 10 games they’re 8-1-1 and currently sit at 16-16-3 on the season.

Puck drop is set for 7pm tonight from Amalie Arena.
