TAMPA (SNN-TV) – After a record 13-4 season, and notching the 2nd seed in the NFC, the Bucs are ready to make a run for the Lombardi once again, starting this Sunday against the Eagles.

The opponent is a familiar one. Not only did the Bucs and Eagles meet in Week Six, with Tampa Bay holding onto a 28-22 decision at Lincoln Financial Field, but Philly is actually the most common postseason opponent in franchise history.

Tampa Bay and Philly have already met four times in the playoffs, splitting them down the middle. The most recent happening when Tampa sealed a 27-10 win on the road in the 2002 NFC Championship Game, en route to the Bucs first Super Bowl victory.

But the Eagles don’t exactly look the same as they did 13 weeks ago, as they’ve won six of their last eight.

Kickoff between the Eagles and Bucs is set for 1pm on Sunday.
