SARASOTA (SNN-TV) – Booker High School ushered in a new era this morning, when they introduced Scottie Littles as the new head football coach.

Littles takes over the Booker program with a host of experience. Littles served as an assistant coach at Booker, prior to moving back to his home state of Virginia, ahead of the 2016 season for his first-ever head coaching position at King’s Fork in Suffolk.

Most recently, Littles spent three seasons at Palm Beach Central High School. Littles led them to their first undefeated regular season in program history and a 2nd-round appearance in the state playoffs this past season.

Littles aims to turn the Tornadoes program around, and he urges fans to stay the course.

“It’s not what we do, but how we do it. Everybody lifts weights, everybody runs plays, everybody builds relationships, but it’s not what you do, but how you do it. My message would be, buckle up, we look forward to seeing you in the stands and in the community. We have an open door policy, let’s get ready for a ride that all of us [have] only dreamed of.” – Scottie Littles

Littles replaces Baraka Atkins after three seasons, this past season Booker finished 1-8.
