SARASOTA (SNN-TV) – A Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School senior has been named to the FHSAA Florida Dairy Farmers Academic All-State Team.
Hallie Monserez is the only student from Sarasota or Manatee to be recognized for this honor.
The Dairy Farmers Academic All-State Team, is a recognition program that honors 24 graduating student-athletes who excel in both athletics and academics.
With this being one of the most important special recognition programs the FHSAA sponsors, awarding a total of $50,000 in scholarships.
Monserez has a 4.0 GPA and is a National Merit Finalist, who lettered in three sports, cross country, track and field and soccer, all four years of high school and holds the school record in the 4x400m relay.
She plans to attend the University of Notre Dame this fall.
