LOS ANGELES (SNN-TV) – The most decorated U.S. track and field athlete in Olympic history is retiring at the end of the 2022 season.

Allyson Felix has won 11 Olympic medals and 13 world championship titles.

According to her Instagram post, Felix says she is grateful for her sport but adds that she doesn’t think she has quote “anything left to give.”

The 36-year-old got her start in the 200-meters and won a silver medal at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.

Felix won seven gold medals throughout her career.
