FLORIDA – The tragic shooting in Buffalo is a reminder of white supremacy in America. Law enforcement believes the suspect who, if truly guilty, doesn’t deserve to be introduced by name, allegedly live streamed his attack online.

Giffords is an organization led by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords who was shot a decade ago. The organization states that it’s a leader in the movement to end gun violence in America.

I spoke with two women who are part of Giffords — its Florida director Samantha Barrios and former Florida congresswoman Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, about the Buffalo shooting and violence against minority races and religions in the country. Here are all three parts that aired on SNN, plus the full unedited interview.
