SNN Morning Weather
Good morning, Suncoast! Meteorologist Eric Kasunich here with your Max Defender weather update.
Yesterday was a bit gloomy and dreary with a high of only 65°F, which is 7°F below the average of 72°F. Today will be quite similar before the pattern starts to change tomorrow. This morning, temperatures are starting out in the mid to low 50s across the region, with overcast clouds. Expected to warm up to a high of 65°F. There is a slight chance, about 10%, that some areas will see light sprinkles today as the cold, dreary conditions continue.
A frontal system will move through on Saturday night into Sunday morning, increasing our rain chances. Saturday will be the nicest day to enjoy the outdoors if you're starting to get cabin fever from all the cold weather, with a high of 74°F. However, there will be a few showers and above-average temperatures before the front arrives on Saturday night. Sunday will be cloudy, with widespread showers throughout the day and even a possible thunderstorm.
After the front sweeps through, cooler, drier air will move in, decreasing our temperatures for Monday and Tuesday. Expect lows in the 40s and highs in the mid-60s on those days.
