SNN Morning first
Good morning, Suncoast! Meteorologist Eric Kasunich with you Max Defender Weather update.
A cloudy day is in store for today before a weak cold front push through tomorrow. The high for today is about 67°F places inland might be a bit cooler. Dew points are in the 40s, so there is a very dry air mass over us at the moment. This will dry out our skin, so make sure that lotion is handy. However, there is a possibility of a few sprinkles this evening. If you do see rain, it will be few a far between and very light.
Tomorrow will be a repeat of today except there are higher rain chances, associated with a front that will descend over us. This is a weak front so the temperatures will not drop drastically, but still remain a few degrees the climatic average of 72°F for this time of year. If you have weekend plans, Saturday is the better of the two days to be outside. Although it will be cloudy, the high will be in the mid 70s and be a nice break from the below average temperatures.
Next week, there is a large trough dipping down into the US which will promote a significant cool down for the entire eastern side of the country. The Suncoast sits right on the edge of this artic air mass. So even though we will see lower than average temperatures, they will be only moderately below, compared to our neighbors to the north.
