SARASOTA (SNN-TV) – The New College of Florida Mighty Banyans have officially announced Drew Mitchell as the program’s head golf coach for the fall of 2024.
Drew Mitchell brings 10 years of high school coaching at Cardinal Mooney, including being named as the 2023 Herald Tribune golf coach of the year. Mitchell led Cardinal Mooney to the best finish in school history this year, where the team finished third in the state.
Mitchell attended Southern Wesleyan University in South Carolina, where he played golf and received his degree in physical education.
