SARASOTA – A single vehicle crash send one pedestrian to the hospital. It happened just after 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon near the intersection of Beneva Road and Circus Blvd.
Spokesman for Sarasota County Emergency Services reports one person on a wheelchair was hit by a car. That person was transported to a nearby hospital not as a trauma alert. The crash is under investigation.
