Three hurt in Palmetto shooting

PALMETTO – Three people were shot in Palmetto Friday night. A Manatee County Sheriff’s Office spokesman says it happened right before 8 p.m. near the intersection of 21st St. W. and 3rd Ave. W. Officials say two suspects drove up to a residence and opened fire. No one sustained life-threatening injuries. The sheriff’s office has not yet made any arrests and deputies are still investigating the motive.
