SARASOTA – “I don’t have an estimate yet, but I can tell you yesterday’s gate was probably the highest that we have seen in 23 years,” said Executive Director of Suncoast Charities for Children, Lucy Nicandri.

Day 3 was dominated by the “United We Ride, America Strong” charity ride.

“To pay honor to our first responders, veterans and active duty military, we had over 250 bikes come out, the ride ended here at the fairgrounds and all the money raised went to Suncoast Charities for Children.”

And, yes, NO Thunder is a True Thunder without the music, The Lost Boys and Greg Billings Band performed live.

“The big wrap up for us is hopefully raising a lot of money for six local nonprofits that we support here in the community serving special needs children, teens and adult,” said Nicandri.

“And the biggest thing is we want to make this an iconic event for the community, it’s a music and motorcycle festival so we just want to keep making it better and better each year,” said Nicandri.
