SARASOTA- The Haven is hosting its 21st annual Jingle and Jog.
Organizers say this year’s race is the largest yet, with more than 600 participating runners. All funds raised by the event benefit The Haven, a non-profit, which provides services for children and adults with disabilities. Many runners said, this was their way of getting ready for the holidays.
“It’s the 21st annual jingle and jog, its great it’s a competitive race but we all like to get festive,” said runner Rachel Chambers.
“It’s for a good cause, it really is, I only run races that are for a good cause,” said runner Stacey Monroe.
The Fry Family Foundation even donated twenty dollars for each race finisher.
