SARASOTA (SNN-TV) – A week after inclement weather postponed the event, the RI5E Sports Top 100 Showcase took place Saturday, with the Suncoast’s finest talent on display.
Cardinal Mooney High School played host to Adrian McPherson and RI5E Sports’ first annual Top 100 Showcase for the area’s top high school football talent.
The showcased allowed colleges via the Varsity Sports Network to see the athletes workout in positional drills and competitions.
Some of the notable attendees were: Venice’s Elliott Washington and Keyon Sears, Palmetto’s Zander Smith, Zymarrion “Nooka” Lang and Jamil Williams, and Charlotte’s Brady Hall and Cael Newton.
