SARASOTA – Fine art was on display along Gulf Stream Avenue for the 6th annual Sarasota Spring Fine Art Festival.
The annual art festival takes over downtown Sarasota to allow local artist to sell their unique work. Hundreds of people flooded the streets hunting for a new art piece to take home.
Artist J.D. River travels from St. Petersburg to display his art to Suncoast residents as he can always count on selling his original pieces here.
“This show is always great Sarasota is a great buying crowd they always come to bring their art home with them not just pay you compliments so it’s great,” said River. “They support their local artist and we appreciate it, we go home happy here.”
The outdoor gallery had original paintings, sculptures and jewelry. The Sarasota Downtown Merchants Association host the event each year.
