SARASOTA – This tail-wagging walkathon is their biggest fundraiser of the year.
The Southeastern Guide dogs host their 34th annual Suncoast walkathon at Nathan Benderson Park.
It’s a fundraiser to help move their mission forward: breed, raise and train puppies to become guide dogs and service dogs.
Organizers say about 1000 people and 500 dogs came out to the 3k walk.
The event included a live band, sponsors and vendors, and of course, food.
