SIESTA KEY (SNN TV) – We know Siesta Key ranks high for beaches around the world, but for hotel service? It actually gets bad marks.
An analysis from PlanetWare.com analyzed 7.8 million TripAdvisor hotel reviews across more than 9,000 hotels in 95 U.S. cities. For hotel service in particular, the site focused on more than 800,000 bad reviews, meaning 1 to 2 stars out of 5.
Siesta Key ranked the 4th worst for hotel service. It couldn’t crack number one, which was occupied by Miami Beach, Florida. Siesta Key was not on the list of worst hotels, meaning room and hotel quality, not customer service.
PlanetWare found some of the most common hotel complaints in reviews were the smell of smoking rooms, not enough toiler paper, bed bugs, thin walls, and poor service.
