BRADENTON (SNN-TV) – State College of Florida freshman, Kwo Agwa, has been named the Region 8 Player of the Week.
The Calgary, Alberta native posted back-to-back double-doubles in two wins versus Region 8 opponents.
Agwa tallied 23 points and 10 rebounds and five blocks vs. St. Petersburg and 13 points, 14 rebounds and six blocks vs. #18 Santa Fe.
The freshman averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 5.5 blocks in the two games and shot 65% from the field and 77% from the free throw line.
Agwa and the Manatees are back in action December 29th, as they host Pensacola State as part of their 2021 Holiday Classic.
