SARASOTA (WSNN) – A man is rescued after being trapped under a concrete slab, Tuesday afternoon.
The fire department’s heavy rescue unit responded to the 1400 block of Global Court in eastern Sarasota county at around 2 pm.
An SNN reporter was able to shoot video of firefighters and EMTs prepping a patient on the ground.
A county spokesperson tells SNN he was taken to Sarasota Memorial as a trauma alert.
