FATHER ARREST ABUSE

SARASOTA COUNTY- Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office arrest 43 year old, Dwight Bainbridge in St. Pete Friday. Deputies searched for Bainbridge for three weeks. He was wanted for Lewd or Lascivious Molestation, Aggravated Child Abuse and Sexual Battery of a Minor.

According to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook Bainbridge was taken into custody with the help of U.S Marshalls. Deputies say the victim, a 16-year-old, suffered abuse at the hands of her own father, Bainbridge and his girlfriend, 39-year-old, Jessica Brambilla. Bainbridge and Brambilla are accused of locking the teen inside of a bedroom, letting her out only twice a day to use the bathroom and eventually giving her a bucket to use instead.

According to court documents the victim was only allowed to eat twice a day, and was fed plain oatmeal, two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, multivitamins and two cups of water. Deputies say the victim was home-schooled, but her schooling was often taken away from her as a punishment.

Brambilla was arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse, September 20 and was released on a $50,000 bond.
