DESOTO COUNTY (SNN TV) – A 63-year-old Port Charlotte woman is dead after a crash in DeSoto County.
This happened on County Road 769 Friday.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the woman was driving an SUV south on County Road 769 and crossed the centerline.
A 29-year-old Port Charlotte man was driving a truck tractor northbound and collided with the SUV.
He suffered no injuries, but the woman was pronounced dead on scene.
