PORT CHARLOTTE (WSNN) – A nine-year-old Port Charlotte boy gets a special wish granted, Saturday afternoon.

Adrian Black is currently battling leukemia. He gets very tired from his treatments, making it difficult to walk and participate in activities with his family and friends.

So he received a customized street-legal golf cart, this way he can go camping in the mountains and enjoy the lifestyle he had before cancer took it away from him.

It’s a metallic green, 2022 Yamaha four-seater with a lift kit, upgraded rims, and all-terrain tires.

His special day included family, friends, and Kinsley Peacock. She’s another Make A Wish recipient from 2019. She’s a seven-year-old, North Venice resident who survived cancer. She started her own nonprofit organization, Kinsley’s Cookie Cart, and is now underwriting the cost of wishes, including this one for Adrian, from the fundraising she has done.

A full-circle event. Congrats Adrian on your new ride!
