SARASOTA COUNTY (WSNN) – The Florida Department of Health hosted a pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Riverview High School, Saturday.
Anyone over the age of 12 was able to receive it.
More than 300 people took advantage of the vaccine site. Officials with the event said most of the attendees that received the vaccine were teens rather than parents.
All tables were filled and packed with families to get vaccinated. Officials say it was the busiest of all school-based clinics.
