SARASOTA (SNN-TV) – With week 4 of the high school football season just days away, there will be one less game on that slate here locally.

The Out-of-Door Academy football home game Friday against Fort Myers Canterbury has been postponed because of multiple injuries suffered by Thunder players early this season.

Head Coach Jon Haskins said the reason the two teams won’t play later this week is because injuries and limited the number of available players on the ODA roster. The postponement was not COVID-related.

Out-of-Door Academy will attempt to make up the Sunshine State Athletic Conference contest at a later date.

The winless Thunder are scheduled to play Orlando Faith Christian Academy, September 24th at home.
