SARASOTA (SNN-TV) – Beginning today and running through November 20th, the Baltimore Orioles will host the team’s Fall Instructional League Camp at the Ed Smith Stadium complex.
The Instructional League program focuses on specific individual development to help accelerate a player’s progress through the minor league system.
Among those participating include 17 members of the Orioles 2021 draft class, as well as 19 prospects in their Top 30 list, according to MLB Pipeline.
The Orioles farm system currently ranks as the best in baseball according to MLB Pipeline and the second-best according to Baseball America.
It includes five players listed among the Top 100 MLB prospects, Catcher Adley Rutschman, pitchers Grayson Rodriguez and D.L Hall, infielder Gunnar Henderson, and outfielder Colton Cowser.
Orioles pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to 2022 Spring Training on February 15th.
