VENICE – A fire in south Sarasota County sends one person to the hospital Thursday evening.
Crews were called to the 700 block Carnoustie Terrace in South Venice for reports of a small house fire in the area.
When fire fighters arrived to the home — smoke and flames were seen coming from one of the residences.
One person was transported to Sarasota Memorial as a trauma alert –
No word on the nature of their injuries has been resealed at this time. The State Fire Marshall is currently investigating the cause of the blaze.
