VENICE (SNN-TV) – In the past few days SNN has reported updates concerning Venice High School’s Omari Hayes and his collegiate commitments, and today we have yet another change.
Earlier today, in a now deleted tweet, Hayes announced he was switching his commitment from Middle Tennessee State University and is now headed to Florida Atlantic University.
Last week, Hayes decommitted from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania, reopening his recruitment.
In 2021, the Owls finished 5-7 under Head Coach and Bradenton native, Willie Taggart.
