DOWNTOWN SARASOTA (SNN TV) – A new tropical bar and kitchen is now open in downtown Sarasota.
Bar Hana held its grand opening Friday with Sarasota Mayor Kyle Battie in attendance.
Chef Natalia Levey and her Hi Hospitality Group are responsible for this new restaurant which she describes as a “high-class tropical bar and kitchen.” Levey says they’re serving elevated bar food, such as steak tartare.
Bar Hana is located at 1289 N Palm Ave in Downtown Sarasota. It’s open for lunch and dinner on weekdays, and brunch, lunch, and dinner on weekends. It’s located right by the chef’s Asian restaurant Kojo.
Levey says her team plans to debut another restaurant next door, Palm Avenue Deli, which will feature a retro 1950s design.
