NORTH PORT/WELLEN PARK (SNN TV) – A new farmers market is coming to Downtown Wellen Park.
It’ll be called the Fresh Harvest Farmers Market at 19745 Wellen Park Boulevard and begins May 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The market will be open every Sunday. The Herald-Tribune reports visitors can visit more than 30 vendor booths which will offer produce, herbs, spices, cut flowers, teas, syrups, baked goods, fresh seafood, and more. Some of the vendors you can expect to see include Florida’s Fresh Fish Company, Jamie’s Jams, Main Lobstah 2 U, NYC Bagels, Traditional French Crepes, and Pet Wants Sarasota.
Starting in the fall, Fresh Market will offer cooking demonstrations with local chefs, according to the Herald-Tribune.
