SARASOTA – The Sarasota County Sheriff’s office responded to a call of a multiple vehicle crash on I-75.
The call came after seven on Thursday. The accident happened near mile marker 213 just past the University Parkway exit.
Two lanes were shut down only leaving open the right southbound lane for driver to get by.An ambulance left the scene transporting one patient to a nearby hospital.
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the scene. No injuries have been reported. The cause of the crash is still unknown. We we’ll have an update as soon as we get any information.
