SARASOTA- A motorcyclist is killed, after a crash, early Saturday morning.
It happened just after midnight at Siesta Drive and Higel Avenue.
According to Sarasota Police, the motorcyclist succumbed from injuries at the scene.
Parts of Siesta Drive and Higel Avenue were closed for several hours.
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. That intersection is reopened, but the crash remains under investigation.
