SARASOTA – It’s Mother’s Day and Suncoast businesses are celebrating this joyous day by providing specials for all mothers.
The Selby botanical gardens hosted their annual Mother’s Day brunch. The sold out brunch provided mothers with a scenic view of Sarasota Bay while serving them excusive cuisine.
More than a hundred mothers and their families showed up for the festivities and were given access to the botanical gardens afterward.
“So this is really a long standing tradition. Selby Gardens has hosted a mother day brunch for years and years, and I think there’s a wonderful tradition in this community for mother’s to enjoy our beautiful gardens on this special day,” said President and CEO of Selby Botanical Gardens Jennifer Rominiecki.
Michael’s on East provided the delicious food. From omelets, to pancakes, and of course a deserts table there was something for everyone’s taste buds.
