MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (SNN TV) – Manatee County residents are invited to a meeting about the upcoming improvements on Lorraine Road, including a new roundabout.
In a Facebook post, Manatee County said a public information meeting will be held to discuss the project on the intersection of Player’s Drive and Lorraine Road.
Residents will be able to view design boards and ask project staff any questions related to the improvements.
The project is scheduled to begin in late fall. It consists of a roundabout to be constructed on the intersection, pedestrian ramps crosswalks with Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs), pavement resurfacing, lighting and reapplying pavement markings.
The meeting will be held Wednesday, Sept. 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church, located on 11315 Palmbrush Trail in Bradenton.
