BRADENTON – The new LOGIQ E10 is the first of its kind in Manatee County that offers a new innovative tool for patients requiring ultrasounds. The new machine allows medical staff to assess more accurately the stiffness of organs, tumors, and breast lumps.

“A long term problem with ultrasound is that it’s hard to see internal structures in larger patients and one of the huge advantages of this new scanner which surpasses all the other scanners that have been out there before, is that it penetrates tissues better so we can get a much better look at the internal organs of these much larger patients,” said Dr. Anthony Rizzo.

Dr. Rizzo says the ultrasound machine also helps in detecting cirrhosis of the liver and can eliminate the need of a biopsy. All four Manatee Diagnostic Center locations now have a LOGIQ E10.
