Manatee County 2021 Grads will be able to have more guests at ceremony

MANATEE COUNTY – Upcoming Manatee County grads will now be able to have more guests cheering them on when they get their high school diplomas.

The school district of Manatee County has announced, an increase in the number of tickets per graduate for the Class of 2021.

Last year, high schools were restricted to only two tickets per graduate due to increased safety measures because of the pandemic.

Now, each graduate will receive a total of four tickets.

“The numbers of vaccinations in our county have been growing over the last month, and two months, and because the CDC has relaxed some of its guidelines on outdoor events, we have worked with them so now our graduates can have up to four tickets per graduate for family members,” said Director of Communications for Manatee County Schools, Michael Barber.
