LONGBOAT KEY (SNN TV) – Dry Dock Waterfront Grill makes the list of the 100 Most Popular Restaurants for Outdoor Dining by the online restaurant reservation and review service, OpenTable. This was based off 7,699 reviews, to which it averages 4.8 stars out of 5.
The Herald-Tribune’s dining editor says it’s his favorite waterfront restaurant in Sarasota County due to “superior seafood, gorgeous views of Sarasota Bay,” and “unmatched” service.
Some of the dishes he recommends are the grouper bites, scallops wrapped in crispy bacon strips, and especially the citrus grouper.
According to OpenTable, other favorite include lobster rolls and seafood linguine.
The only drawback? It’s not the restaurant’s fault: the heat wave this summer has been brutal, so outdoor dining can be difficult. However, there are two floors of indoor tables next to huge windows to look over the water.
