SARASOTA – “The King of Rant” Lewis Black is returning to the Suncoast. The comedian has performed on ‘The Daily Show’ since it was hosted by Craig Kilborn in the 1990s, has been in dozens of stand-up specials, including on HBO and Comedy Central, authored several books, and acted in numerous TV shows and movies, such as Disney-Pixar’s “Inside Out.”
I spoke with Lewis Black through Zoom in a wide-ranging interview on his craft, how he feels he’s different than George Carlin, what’s driving him mad in the news, what comedy bits he’s most proud of, and of course what you can expect in the show.
