LAKEWOOD RANCH -The Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch celebrates new beginnings. The no-kill shelter opened their doors to the public to tour their new facility and meet the furry little friends up for adoption Saturday morning.
The shelter provides a bigger facility for all the dogs and cats looking for their forever home. Staff at the shelter say this facility was two years in the making and hopes more people think about adopting to provide a stable home for all their four legged friends.
The shelter is open Friday through Sunday from 11 to 4 p.m.
