NOKOMIS – Nokomis Fire Department responded to the call after a neighbor reported the fire on Suffolk Circle.
One man and four dogs were inside the home at the time of the fire but made it out safely.
Fire Chief Steve Kona says the house has extensive damage towards back of the home. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
