PALMETTO – According to investigators three pedestrians, were walking in the grass shoulder along southbound US 19 when a Chevy Silverado left the roadway and hit them just after 2:30 a.m.
Troopers say a 47-year-old man, and 13-year -old boy were killed; another woman was taken to Blake Medical Center in critical condition.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the truck left the scene and troopers are now looking for the vehicle and its driver. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the Florida Highway Patrol.
