SARASOTA (SNN TV) – Hanukkah begins Sunday evening and the party is already starting. The Green at UTC is hosting a celebration featuring games, music, festive treats and more.
The event is in partnership with Temple Emanu-El.
“Our annual festival of lights… is filled with joy, love, story, miracle and family. Anytime as a gathering here, especially at UTC, it always fun. People come out, they love to bring their kids, all generations come — people who are Jewish, who aren’t Jewish, people who are stopping by shopping. It’s all about the fun and the people coming out and joining together,” says Rabbi Michael Shefrin.
New, unwrapped toys benefiting Jewish Family & Children’s Service of the Suncoast were brought.
