DOWNTOWN SARASOTA (SNN TV) – Food + Beer is opening its new location this Tuesday.
January 17th at 4 p.m. is the official opening of the downtown Sarasota location. It replaces the Blue Rooster at 1525 4th Street in the Rosemary District.
Food + Beer opened its first location in 2018. The concept was a first-rate pub grub with brews and now craft cocktails.
The Herald-Tribune’s dining editor ranks it among the best restaurants in Sarasota-Manatee.
Some of his favorite meals here include the Mexican street corn with chipotle mayo, “tin can” nachos with tomatillo stewed chicken, and P-B-R fried pickles with their jalapeno ranch. He calls the hand-breaded chicken nuggets served with honey siracha nearly as addictive as the wings.
