SARASOTA-MANATEE COUNTIES (WSNN) – The first babies of 2021 are born hours into the new year in Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
Messiah Mays is the first baby to be born at Sarasota Memorial Hospital; right at 1:39 am. He’s seven pounds and 12 ounces.
Messiah beats the baby boy at Manatee Memorial by several hours. Arav Mayed was born at 5:55 am, weighing six pounds 12 ounces and is 19 inches long.
