BRADENTON – At Manatee High, you can witness all the work from our Suncoast marching bands as the Florida Bandmasters Association Marching Performance Assessment returns to the Suncoast! Unsurprisingly, this event could not happen in 2020.
All bands featured on your Friday Football Fever Band of the Week will perform, as well as nearly all other bands on the Suncoast.
I spoke with District Chair of all bands in District 11, David Wing, about the event and what it means to music on the Suncoast. He also began directing at Venice High in 2020, so this will be his first year taking part in this event!
