SARASOTA – From the Flying Wallenda’s to the cast of impractical jokers several of the acrobatic stars we know of today have trained under Sarasota’s resident daredevil.

Get ready to laugh, get ready to have fun, but most importantly get ready to fly. No one stays on the ground for long when you visit the Funny Farm.

Sarasota’s own Bello Nock is opening for the first time his home to the public and he invited SNN to come along for the ride.

“We’ve spent our lives following our daredevil dreams, and so now we really wanna invite people to come try  and conquer their own fears or their own dreams,” Annaliese Nock.

The pandemic canceled or postponed many of Annaliese and Bello Nock’s live performances.

The father-daughter daredevil duo thought this would be a great time to expand their repertoire and teach their fans how they pull off the stunts you’ve seen them do on TV.

“You can learn to walk the high wire no matter how high that is,” said Bello. “Everything is about is about taking those steps, and it’s not so much about the destination, it’s about the journey.

So this reporter tighten his safety belt and set off to begin my training to become Bello’s next protégé.

Fear of heights or just fear of falling. You don’t have to worry as the trained staff at the Funny Farm make sure even you survive the Wheel of Wonder.

For the Nock’s inviting their community into their world has not only be a goal of theirs, but also an escape from the struggles the pandemic has brought us.

“Lately it seems like everybody is telling us what we can and what we should do,” said Bello. “What we’re trying to provide for people is what do you want to do, within the safety of the guidelines.”

The father-daughter dare deviling duo say fans can expect more events open to the public in the near future. To book your play time at the Funny Farm & Adventure Center visit bellonock.com.
