SARASOTA (SNN-TV) – Suncoast resident and College Basketball Legend, Dick Vitale, tweeted great news he received today from his doctor after undergoing his final chemotherapy treatment.
After analyzing Dickie V’s bloodwork, doctors at Sarasota Memorial Hospital have cleared Vitale to “ring the bell”, a common way to celebrate the end of a successful cancer treatment. Vitale expressed his deep gratitude towards the doctors at Sarasota Memorial and to his friends and family.
Vitale was diagnosed with lymphoma in October and the cancer is currently in remission.
