SARASOTA – Despite Sarasota County School District canceling graduations some seniors got to walk across the stage.
Sarasota High School Class of 2020 was at the Charlie Cleland Stadium on Thursday. With more than 450 students graduating this year was a bit different than your usual ceremonies.
Students rode with their families around the Sailor’s athletic track only to stop twice for photos and to receive their diploma.
And North Port High School took their approach hosting and in person graduation all while keeping everyone spaced apart by six feet and wore masks.
Here’s the catch the graduation ceremonies were broken up into three separate ceremonies to not have large groups gathering.
