SARASOTA (SNN TV) – A local Suncoast restaurant is among the 100 most popular brunch spots in America.
That’s according to online restaurant reservation and review service OpenTable. On its list of 100 most popular brunch spots was Connors Steak & Seafood in Sarasota. There are six Connors in the U.S. and two in Florida, the other location being in Fort Myers. The first location opened in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2004. The Sarasota location opened in 2017 in Crossings at Siesta Key, where the Westfield shopping mall is.
The Herald-Tribune’s dining editor says the restaurant’s winning combo is “aged steaks and fresh seafood served in a refined yet relaxed atmosphere.”
A Tampa staple also is on the list: Columbia Restaurant, the oldest restaurant in Florida. You can go to their Sarasota location at St. Armands Circle.
