SARASOTA – This year, Florida holds many big elections, including arguably the biggest — the race for governor. Two Democrats are running to challenge Governor Ron DeSantis: Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried, and Congressman and former Florida governor Charlie Crist.
Marco La Manno was able to speak to Congressman Crist recently about one of the biggest issues in Florida: the home insurance crisis, where Floridians’ home insurance has jumped 25% since last year according to the Insurance Information Institute, well above the 4% average nationwide.
